Recently The News of the World reported that Birmingham City is on the race of getting Vedad Ibisevic. According to the manager Alex McLeish, the club has targeted Hoffenheim hitman Ibisevic in their shopping list this season.

Ibisevic was one of the star players at Hoffenheim since he joined the Bundesliga side way beck in the year 2007. These days after recovering from a serious knee injury he is again nearing the top.
According to sources, it is heard that the English side is ready to make an offer of €12 million to Ibisevic. Now it is just to wait and see whether Hoffenheim will be interested in cashing their 25-year-old attacker for this amount.

The star forward missed second half of last season due to cruciate knee ligament injury. He missed the pitch for about twelve months.
