Vedad Ibisevic has ended scotched rumours of a possible transfer to the Premier League.
The Bosnian forward has been linked with several English sides, including Manchester City, but he has reiterated that he has could happily play out the rest of his career there.
“I would like to do that. I always say that and at times I think people do not listen to me,” Ibi told La Vanguardia.
“You know, I love this city. However hard it was last year, the people in the street were always encouraging me.
“I enjoy the life here and the food is great too.”
“Hoffa’ is another story. When you come here from nowhere and there are so many people it is very surprising.”
Vedad is a big admirer of coach and believes the Hoffenheim coach’s approach is instrumental in the club’s success this season.
“He does not become angry for the sake of it. He is a winner and he only thinks about winning games. I have never had coaches that like to scream and shout,” the Bosnian international explained.
“The coach shows his annoyance, but in a good way. He has a good reason for it and everyone listens because he speaks clearly. His messages sink in.”
